So I got my AZ shot. No issues. Good to know that in 14 days or so I can count on pretty good protection against the virus and very high protection against serious infection.
But, the way this thing is being administered really makes me worry about how fucked up the whole organization around delivering the shots is in Ontario. Where I live I was able to get the shot within an hour of phoning at three different places. Their appointment calendar has plenty of space. So that being the case...why do we have to wait until July for the booster? Is it a different type of shot? Shouldn't they be factoring in the reluctance in the general public to tighten up the appointments? Staff were unable to comment on that.
