Well, it's always better to go with a local guide/interpreter.
The German managers/receptionists/staff usually speak excellent to good English (mandatory in all German schools) but not the girls fro EE.
By car or train M to Augsburg is < 1hr.
We went to Colloseum with a group 6 Brits and they would not let us in...because they had beer breath. They have a strict no-alcohol, no drunks policy. The manager looked very "South Asian" as they say politely in the UK.
Munich Sudfass was small, offered no food, but had the best looking hoes of all the clubs we visited on this tour. Across the street is a large swing club which we did not check out.
